The work continues at Ajarn Kwanjit Lertsiri’s conservator workshop in Ayuddhya. It arrived there looking like this:
It took a long time to reach the current stage because of some issues with the paper and the scotch tape used from past repairs.
They had to redo it 4 times. Now they are considering how to frame it!
Their devotion to conserving historical artifacts and records through careful painstaking work amazes me! We were so lucky that my son showed her what he had found in the office storeroom on one of her visits and she entusiasticallyoffered to conserve this historic city record for us!
